
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office proudly recognized three deputies with the “Excellence of the Quarter” Awards during a recent ceremony. Sheriff Stuart Wright presented the awards, commending each recipient for outstanding performance, commitment to duty, and exceptional service to the people of Natchitoches Parish.
“These deputies have gone above and beyond in their duties, and their actions reflect the highest standards of professionalism and dedication,” said Sheriff Wright. “We are honored to recognize their achievements and grateful for their service.”
Award Recipients:
Deputy Adrian Duruisseau – Patrol Operations / School Resource Officer
Deputy Duruisseau is a highly valued member of the NPSO, with a dedication and passion for working with children that truly shines. Beyond his work with the Sheriff’s Office, he is actively involved in the community through various clubs and organizations, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to service. Adrian consistently rises to any challenge, approaching difficult assignments with determination, focus, and professionalism. His positive impact is felt both within the NPSO and throughout the community.
Deputy Ashley Colbeck – High Tech / IT Bureau
Deputy Colbeck has exceeded expectations this quarter, taking on a key role in the day-to-day operations of the office’s IT systems, especially following the recent departure of a coworker. She is selfless, always willing to assist with any matter, and demonstrates remarkable growth, dedication, and commitment—qualities that have earned her this recognition.
Deputy Matreka Moses – Civil Operations Bureau
Deputy Moses is recognized for consistently going above and beyond, providing exceptional service to the public while offering support to her colleagues. She approaches every interaction with patience, professionalism, and kindness, ensuring that everyone she assists leaves with a positive experience. Her bright and cheerful personality lifts those around her, making her a true embodiment of the values upheld by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
