Natchitoches Junior High JAG officers shine at Statewide Leadership Conference

Six outstanding student leaders from Natchitoches Junior High School proudly represented their school and community at the annual JAG Student Development Conference, held in Marksville.

The conference brought together Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) officers from across Louisiana under this year’s theme: “Together We Are Unlimited.” It was a day filled with leadership training, team-building activities, and opportunities for students to grow and connect with fellow JAG members from around the state.

Representing Natchitoches Junior High JAG were:
Chaslyn Evans, President
Harmoni Morrow, Vice President
Kayleigh Fox, Secretary
Cadynce Smith, Treasurer
Dontravious Sarpy, Historian
Dario Beaudion, Representative

Throughout the day, these JAG officers engaged in meaningful workshops designed to strengthen their leadership skills and deepen their understanding of their roles. The highlight of the event was an inspiring keynote speech by Janelle Duray, President and CEO of JAG National, who spoke to the students about the power of unity, perseverance, and their potential to lead change.

This experience not only empowered the students to lead with confidence but also reinforced the values of collaboration and service which are the foundations that will continue to shape the future of JAG at Natchitoches Junior High.
