Matthew Avery Craig and Yolanda Denise Bobb have been selected as king and queen for the 2027 season of the Krewe of The 9, following election results announced at the organization’s April 15 monthly meeting.
Also elected to serve on the Royal Court are Ronnie Ray Bennett as Duke of Scholarship, Ruby Ann Johnson Braxton as Duchess of Scholarship and Rose Yvette Nash Rock as Duchess of Philanthropy.
The krewe’s second annual coronation featuring the newly elected court is scheduled for June 13 at 4 p.m. at the Chateau Saint Denis Hotel.
