A large tree fell onto a residence in the 100 block of Adkins Street in Campti on May 31, causing heavy damage to the home.

According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched by the NATCOM 911 Center at approximately 3:45 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident.

Atmos Energy and Cleco responded to the scene to assess and address any utility-related concerns.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
