Natchitoches Events Center Manager Brian Briggs will leave his position with the city next month, according to internal municipal correspondence distributed to department heads Tuesday morning.

The internal city correspondence confirmed that Briggs will no longer be employed with the City of Natchitoches effective July 3.

City officials have not announced a timeline for naming a successor to manage Events Center operations following the departure of Briggs, a Natchitoches native who returned home last year after decades in Atlanta.
