The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches welcomed Northwestern State University Rodeo Coach Cody DeMoss as its guest speaker during its June 25 meeting.

DeMoss discussed the return of the NSU Rodeo Team after more than 20 years, including opportunities for student-athletes, upcoming competitions and plans to build the program.

A 14-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, DeMoss was named NSU’s rodeo coach as the university prepares to reestablish its rodeo program.
