The City of Natchitoches Utility Department will conduct sewer smoke testing throughout the city from Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 10.

Residents may notice harmless, non-toxic smoke coming from sewer vents and pipes during the testing. City officials said the smoke is part of the testing process and should not cause alarm.
