The Rotary Club of Natchitoches recognized a change in leadership during a recent meeting and welcomed a guest speaker from Northwestern State University.

Rotary Past President Louie Bernard was recognized for his leadership over the past year with a commemorative plaque presented by President Josh Manuel. During the meeting, Bernard also handed the Rotary gavel to Manuel, marking the club’s leadership transition.

Drake Owens introduced the guest speaker, Jordan Dupuy, Associate Athletic Director for External Operations at Northwestern State University.

During his presentation, Dupuy shared information on NSU athletic facilities, the Wreck Tech NSU Fan Bus scheduled for Sept. 5, the Top of the Boot Music Festival on Oct. 16-17, and the Demon Dream Home Giveaway, with tickets on sale through Nov. 3.
