I will have a violent crimes/homicide unit, only assigned to major violent crimes

And homicides. Will allow better focus on active and unsolved homicides

If there is a homicide in Natchitoches Parish, that famy will see me personally. We will update the families and we will not forget your family’s loss.

I will reopen the substations in Campti, Cloutierville,  and Robeline. Bringing the Sheriffs office back out into the communities.

I will work close with local pastors in implement faith based mentorship programs for troubled youth and young adults

I will expand the Patrol division for coverage and response time in our rural areas.

I will increase upto date training in the detectives division. A detective will respond to all criminal investigations.

I will expand the juvenile division.

I pledge to fight the war on drugs.

I pledge to bring back programs to our correctional facility. To work with our DA to help with addiction and establish a correctional rehab and work release program. So those re entering society will have a fighting chance.

I pledge to partner with youth programs,  camps and to be present.

I pledge that we will be a positive influence and be present in the communities,  not just some days,  but every day.

Showing actions, not by words.

I pledge to create a Triad for our senior citizens. Including elderly check list and partnerships with programs like Council on aging. To ensure the ones that paved the way for us are taken care of.

I pledge that as your Sheriff I will lead by example, I will lead by faith, honor, integrity, and transparency.
