
Detectives with the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office have determined that an ATV, found crashed along Interstate 49 in southern Natchitoches Parish on July 27, was stolen in the Shreveport area.
According to a 2:04 p.m. update from the sheriff’s office, detectives learned the ATV had been reported stolen, and the investigation is continuing.
The ATV was discovered after a motorist contacted the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office at approximately 7:27 a.m. Saturday, July 25, reporting a crashed ATV on the southbound shoulder of I-49 near mile marker 117, south of the Cloutierville/Derry area.
Deputies said the vehicle is a 2024 Honda Rubicon equipped with a Warn winch on the front. The rear rack had been torn off in the crash.
