
The City of Natchitoches Utility Department has restored water service to the affected area from the west side of I-49 to Mt. Olive Church Road following emergency repairs to a major water line.
A boil advisory is now in effect until further notice for residents and businesses in the affected area.

Original: Emergency Water Outage West of 1-49 to Mt. Olive Church Road
The City of Natchitoches is responding to an emergency water main break today, Aug. 6, that has required the temporary shutdown of water service from the west side of I-49 to Mt. Olive Church Road.
The outage is necessary to allow repairs to a major water line that serves as the primary water supply for the affected area. City Utility Department crews are on site and working as quickly and safely as possible to complete the repairs and restore water service.
Residents and businesses located from the west side of I-49 to Mt. Olive Church Road should expect an interruption in water service until repairs are complete. Once water service is restored, a boil advisory will be issued for the affected area.
The City of Natchitoches understands the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to resolve the issue.
