The public is invited to attend the Natchitoches Candidate Forum on Thursday, August 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the Natchitoches City Council Chambers, 716 Second Street, Natchitoches. Hosted by 95.9 The Bounce, the forum will give voters the opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking public office ahead of the upcoming election.

Invitations have been extended to candidates seeking election for United States Senate, Natchitoches City Judge, Natchitoches City Marshal, and Natchitoches Parish School Board Districts 1 and 11. The event follows Louisiana’s candidate qualifying period for the 2026 elections and is intended to help voters make informed decisions before Election Day.

The forum will be moderated by Gwendolyn Hardison, who will serve as an impartial moderator. In addition to moderator-led questions, members of the public will have the opportunity to ask the candidates questions, creating an open and informative discussion about the issues that matter most to the Natchitoches community.
