Natchitoches Regional Medical Center has been recognized by the Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Public Health and the Louisiana Perinatal Quality Collaborative for participating in the Obstetric Readiness in Emergency Departments Initiative.

Through this initiative, our Emergency Department team continues to strengthen its ability to recognize, evaluate and respond to obstetric emergencies. This work helps ensure pregnant patients receive timely, compassionate and coordinated care when they need it most.

This recognition reflects NRMC’s continued commitment to improving maternal care and supporting safer outcomes for mothers and babies throughout our community.
