
Property Tax Protest Deadline Set for Sept. 14
Natchitoches Parish taxpayers who wish to contest their 2026 property assessments must file a written appeal with the parish president on or before 4:30 p.m. Sept. 14. Appeals must be sent by certified mail or hand delivered.
The Parish Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21 in the council board room, Room 211, to receive protests and hear complaints on property values fixed by the Natchitoches Parish Assessor. The notice was issued by Parish President John Salter.
Planning Commission September Meeting Moved to Sept. 15
The September meeting of the Natchitoches Planning Commission has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 in Room 211 of the parish courthouse. The regular meeting date fell on the Labor Day holiday.
