The City of Natchitoches announced that the temporary closure of the east side of the Touline Street intersection at Second Street, which began Saturday, Aug. 15, will remain in effect through Monday, Aug. 17, for construction of a new sewer main.

Traffic accessing businesses on Touline Street between Front Street and Second Street may access the area from Front Street but must also exit via Front Street.

The City of Natchitoches apologized for the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and thanked the public for its patience.
