The Northwestern State Athletic Department will kick off the 2026-27 athletic calendar Saturday night at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum.

The 2026 Fall Kickoff event runs from 4:30-6:30 p.m., is free and is open to the public and to the media. It allows access to all of the 27,500-square foot, two-story museum, where admission is ordinarily $7 for adults.

The first hour will allow Demon fans to interact with Northwestern student-athletes and coaches as well as pick up football season tickets, Vic’s Kids Club passes and more. Beginning at 5:30, all nine NSU head coaches will gather in the museum for a panel previewing the upcoming athletic year, give updates on their programs and answer questions from the crowd.

The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum is located at 800 Front Street in downtown Natchitoches, at the traffic circle.
