
The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Khalil Seymore (B/M, 17 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) and two juveniles for several burglaries that occurred overnight.
On August 20, 2026, around 12:18 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Nettie Street in reference to a concerned citizen reporting suspicious activity in the area. Upon officers’ arrival they were able to locate the suspects actively burglarizing vehicles in the area. One of the juvenile offenders was placed under arrest without incident while the other two suspects fled the area.
Investigators were called to the scene and were able to obtain the names of the other two suspects who were placed under arrest earlier this morning.
Khalil Seymore and the two juvenile suspects have been charged with five counts of simple burglary. They were placed in a juvenile detention facility in Jackson Parish.
Linda Simmons was also arrested and has been charged with improper supervision of a juvenile and resisting arrest. She was placed in the LaSalle Corrections / Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
This investigation is still active and additional arrests are expected.
