A social media post claiming Grayson’s Bar-B-Q in Clarence had received an order for 50 hams for Dolly Parton’s celebration of life was false, according to Gregory Grayson.
The post, which claimed Parton’s nephew had contacted Grayson’s and arranged for a jet to fly the hams out from Natchitoches, has been shared more than 170 times within the four hours it’s been online.
The Natchitoches Parish Journal spoke with Grayson to confirm the information. Grayson said he has received calls since the post was made regarding the alleged order. He also said that while it would be an honor for such a thing to happen, the claim was absolutely untrue.
