The City of Natchitoches is currently responding to a water line break near Grand Ecore Road that has resulted in a temporary water outage affecting customers in the following areas:
- Highway 175
- Grand Ecore Road
- Maryland Road
- Hargis Road
- Brickyard Road
- Village of Clarence
- St Savior Church Road
City crews are currently on site and working diligently to repair the damaged line and restore water service as quickly and safely as possible.
Once water service is restored, a boil advisory will be in effect for customers in the affected areas until further notice. Residents are advised to boil water for at least one full minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or food preparation.
The City of Natchitoches will provide an additional update as soon as more information becomes available regarding the repair and restoration of water service.
