
The LSU AgCenter will host a free four-part beekeeping series this fall for individuals interested in learning the fundamentals of successful beekeeping.
The first meeting will be held Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. at the Natchitoches Parish Library.
The series is designed for beginners, and no prior experience is required.
Topics will include beekeeping basics, essential equipment, hive health and management, honeybee biology and life cycle, honey harvesting, seasonal hive management, and question-and-answer sessions covering common beekeeping challenges.
No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend.
