Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on I-49 southbound near mile marker 117, south of the Cloutierville/Derry exit on Sept. 2 around 8:20 pm, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

There were no reported injuries. EMS was dispatched to assess the driver as a precaution.
