The Robeline News has returned, just in time for a busy and exciting season of local events! 

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 12 at 4 PM. The Robeline Heritage Society will host its second Bingo at the Robeline Masonic Lodge. They have promised another selection of great prizes. It’s an event for the whole family to enjoy.  All proceeds go to fund the Robeline Heritage Festival. For further information, contact 318-461-2716.

A message from Robeline’s Chief of Police, Shelby Borders: “I express my sincerest gratitude to the citizens for their continued confidence in me serving as their Chief of Police. Our team will continue the mission of standing up for victims of crime and ensuring the community stays safe and cared for.” Congratulations Shelby on being re-elected as Robeline Police Chief.  

Let’s all put the hunters in our prayers as this year’s hunting season starts. I know there will be a lot of people hunting in our area within the next several months. Prayers to keep everyone safe. Prayers also for successful hunts. There are a lot of people that depend on their kills to feed their family and friends.  

Like most small towns across the country, Robeline depends on community involvement to thrive. Lack of social or civic engagement can lead to the declination of small towns. Robeline is blessed to have people willing to work together to better the community.  Attend a town meeting or volunteer at an upcoming event. You and your help can make a positive difference,
