Natchitoches Parish Fire District #6 held parish-wide fire training Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, with a focus on communication skills.
The training emphasized the importance of clear, effective communication on scene to keep crews coordinated, ensure accurate information reaches command and help keep responders and the public safe.
The training also focused on reducing confusion during high-pressure situations and strengthening teamwork among departments working side by side.
