Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of a commercial vehicle that became stuck on a soft shoulder on U.S. 84 east of Clarence on Sept. 8 around 9:20 pm, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said it appeared the driver of a 2024 Volvo truck was attempting to turn around before the road closure when the vehicle became stuck off the road on a soft shoulder.
