Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s deputies, Louisiana State Police, Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 first responders and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS were dispatched on Sept. 22 at 6:11 p.m. to a reported two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle and a private passenger car on La. Hwy. 1 at its intersection with La. Hwy. 119 in Derry, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

One person was transported by EMS to a regional trauma center with what was believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers assigned to LSP Troop E-Alexandria investigated the crash.
