The City of Natchitoches has issued a boil advisory until further notice for water customers located from the intersection of Touline Street and Second Street to the intersection of Amulet Street and Second Street.

Residents and businesses within the affected area are advised to boil water for at least one full minute before drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, preparing food or using water for consumption.

The City will continue to monitor the water system and conduct the necessary testing. Residents will be notified once the boil advisory has been lifted and the water has been confirmed safe for normal use.
