From the Registrar of Voters on November 3 Open General/Primary Election

The November 3, 2026 Open General/Primary Election will be held with polling places open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

  • School Board Member, District 8
  • Justice of the Peace, Ward 3
  • Mayor, Town of Campti
  • Councilmen, Town of Campti
  • City Court Judge, Natchitoches
  • Chief of Police, Village of Provencal
  • Aldermen, Village of Robeline
  • U.S. Representative, 4th Congressional District
  • School Board Member, District 1
  • Constable, Justice of the Peace, Ward 2
  • Chief of Police, Village of Ashland
  • Chief of Police, Town of Campti
  • Aldermen, Village of Goldonna
  • City Court Marshal, Natchitoches
  • Mayor, Village of Robeline
  • Fire Protection District No. 5, 7.19 Mill Renewal, BOC — 10 Years
  • 10 Constitutional Amendments

The deadline to register to vote and/or make changes in person or by mail is October 5, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The deadline to register online using www.geauxvote.com is October 13, 2026.

Early voting for all interested voters will be conducted in the Registrar of Voters Office, located at 200 Church Street, Room #103, in the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse Building.

Early voting will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026, through Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The office will be closed Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Absentee voting by mail is intended for voters who will be out of the parish on Election Day and the week of early voting, or for persons over age 65, or who have a mobility-impaired ID card (must provide a copy).

The last day to make a written request for an absentee ballot by mail is October 30, 2026, by 4:30 p.m.

Written request forms can be downloaded at www.sos.la.gov under “ELECTIONS.” Click on the “VOTE” link, then click on “VOTE BY MAIL” and “APPLICATION TO VOTE BY MAIL.”

The request must include the voter’s name, Natchitoches Parish address, date of birth, Social Security number or driver’s license number, reason the ballot is being requested, election date (November 3, 2026), address to mail the ballot, and voter’s signature.

Mail and hand-delivered ballots must be returned to the Registrar of Voters Office by 4:30 p.m. the day before the election, November 2, 2026.

Military and overseas ballots must be returned before noon on Election Day.
