Several Natchitoches Lions Club members participated in the recent Lions Children’s Camp Board Meeting held in Gonzales.

Lion Mimi Stoker was installed as the Board’s 2nd Vice President, and Lion Michele Waskom was installed as a Short Term Representative. Lion Nicole Woods also served as an 8L Director and co-chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee.

The Natchitoches Lions Club was also honored to present a donation to the camp as a result of its recent Roaring Lion Classic Golf Tournament. Tournament organizer, Lion Sammy Woods, presented the check to Louisiana Lions Camp Board President Helen Lemoine.

Natchitoches Lions meet on Mondays at noon in the Listach Room of NRMC. Those interested in participating in an organization that serves the community and supports the Louisiana Lions Camp were invited to attend an upcoming meeting or contact any Lions Club member.
