Early voting for the Nov. 3 election maintained a steady, brisk pace Wednesday across Natchitoches Parish, with a total of 470 additional voters casting ballots on Day 2, according to official statistical reports released by the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office.
Voting on Wednesday, Oct. 21, concluded with 450 ballots cast in person at the courthouse registrar’s office and 20 mail-in/absentee ballots logged into the system. Additionally, eight voters required assistance at the polls (5 physical disability, 3 inability to read).
Combined with the reconciled, official Day 1 count of 1,034 ballots (which accounts for opening-day in-person turnout and all pre-election mail-in ballots received through Tuesday), parish-wide participation over the first two days of early voting has reached 1,504 total ballots cast.

Early voting continues daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (excluding Sunday, Oct. 25) through Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Natchitoches Parish Registrar of Voters office inside the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse. Voters are reminded to bring a valid Louisiana driver’s license, Louisiana special ID, LA Wallet digital ID, or another recognized government-issued photo identification.
