St. Mary’s Catholic School raises $2,500 for NRMC Cancer Center during Pink Out event

St. Mary’s Catholic School raised $2,500 in honor of alumna Lisa Vienne Johnson during its 2026 Pink Out activities, with proceeds benefiting the NRMC Foundation’s Cancer Center.

Johnson was recognized during halftime of Friday night’s Pink Out football game, where members of the school’s Tigerline dance team presented her with pink roses as a gesture of love and support.

The funds were raised through the school’s annual Pink Out T-shirt sales and its Cooking for a Cause Club.

At Johnson’s request, the $2,500 donation will benefit the NRMC Foundation’s Cancer Center, helping provide comfort to patients throughout their individual journeys and assisting with other expenses during treatment.

St. Mary’s Catholic School expressed appreciation to everyone who supported this year’s Pink Out fundraising efforts and helped make the recognition possible.
