Trinity Episcopal Church hosted “From Darkness to Light – A Panel Discussion for Domestic Violence Awareness” on Oct. 21, bringing together community members and representatives from several organizations to discuss domestic violence awareness.

The event drew 26 attendees from throughout Natchitoches and Grant parishes.

Guest speakers included Shaye Walker of Project Celebration; Lt. Jessica Williams and Lt. Emily V. Heiman of the Natchitoches Police Department; Cindy Allen of Mind Over Matters; and Amanda White of D.A.R.T. (Domestic Abuse Resistance Team).

Trinity Episcopal Church expressed appreciation to the speakers for their contributions to the discussion and thanked those who attended.
