Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Louisiana State Police, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, NPSO Rescue, and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #7 with extrication equipment were dispatched on Oct. 25 around 4:37 pm by NATCOM 911 Center to 911 reporting of a single vehicle crash with injuries on possible entrapment in the 8300 block of La. Hwy 120 between Robeline and Marthaville according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Units arrived on scene finding the sole-occupant of the vehicle, a female, suffering from moderate to serious injuries. EMS personnel arrived on scene requesting air medical support. Air EVAC Lifeteam #160 helicopter was dispatched to a landing zone at the Robeline ballpark.
Deputies say the driver of the vehicle was transported from the scene by EMS to the Robeline ballpark, and immediately airlifted to a regional trauma center.
Troopers assigned to LSP Troop-E Alexandria are continuing their investigation into the events leading into the cause of the crash.
