Natchitoches Central High School continued its Senior Night tradition of recognizing teachers who have made a lasting impact on senior football players.

As part of the tradition, senior football players select a teacher who has played a meaningful role in their lives. The selected teachers wear the players’ football jerseys to school and to the Senior Night game.

According to Natchitoches Central High School, the teachers are chosen not only for their work in the classroom but also for their roles as mentors, role models and supporters of student-athletes.

The tradition highlights the relationships between teachers and students and recognizes the influence educators have beyond the classroom.
