Cane River Lake is now closed due to high water. We have received a large amount of rain and the lake is expected to continue to rise. The lake is currently at 99.2 MSL. Please check your boats to make sure they are secure. Due to the fast rise of the lake it is advised that you monitor your boathouses to make your boats don’t become trapped. Special note: With Red River high the water will be slow to leave the lake so the lake could remain closed for a longer length of time. I will keep you posted.
