As students moved into dormitories Saturday at Northwestern State, signaling the start of fall semester activities, they were welcomed by faculty, staff and NSU student-athletes helping them settle in. Even though the Demon football team was staging a scrimmage in Turpin Stadium Saturday morning, some players who were sidelined from the scrimmage due to nagging injuries were able to assist with “Move In Day” along with the Lady Demon volleyball team and Lady Demon tennis players, among other student-athletes involved.
