The Natchitoches Fire Department responded to a call this morning from the manager of the Save-a-lot in Natchitoches.   The manager said the opening crew smelled and observed smoke.  Fire Department officials inspected the facilities, determined that no fire existed and rang the all clear bell.   Save-a-lot opened for business shortly thereafter.   The manager on duty expressed his appreciation for the quick response from the City Fire Department.
