The Natchitoches Parish 4-H Foundation hosted the annual Principal and Assistant Principal Appreciation Breakfast in early August. Active youth in the parish testified about the benefits of 4-H, and educated the group on the vast array of activities and school enrichment opportunities available. Last year, Natchitoches Parish had 445 youth in 15 school clubs, and reached 740 youth through after school enrichment programs. For more information about 4-H at your school or how to incorporate the 4-H Club in a Class or afterschool enrichment program, please contact the Natchitoches 4-H office. Dale Skinner, Natchitoches Parish School Board Superintendent, addressed the principals and assistant principals and encouraged all schools to take advantage of the 4-H program.
