This past Tuesday, Natchitoches’ Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception hosted their annual Lessons and Carols. Northwestern State University’s Chamber Choir serenaded the candlelit church with a variety of sacred music in between Bible readings. Fr. Ryan Humphries and Fr. Stephen Soares led the service while Dr. Nicholaus Cummins conducted the Choir. Dr. Christine Allen was the pianist while Dr. Greg Handel played the organ.
