Have you heard of The Cabins of Horseshoe Hills Ranch?

Next time you have guests coming in from out of town, instead of putting them down by the interstate, nestle them into a waterfront cabin at Horseshoe Hills Ranch. Six fully modernized cabins offer a quiet retreat with a rustic feel. Just around the corner from Bayou Pierre Alligator Park and minutes from Historic District shopping and dining, these cabins sit on a bluff overlooking Bayou Pierre.

“We lived in Sulphur for 20 years on Horseshoe Lane,” said owner Andrea Zachary. “We have six children. When we moved here, we let them pick the name and they chose Horseshoe Hills to make a connection to their family home. It is a dream come true to own a place where all six of our children can come home annually and now we’ve created a place that can host other families’ reunions as well.”

Each cabin is crafted inside and out with beautiful pine, can sleep up to six, has a fully functioning stocked kitchen and includes free Wifi. These kid and pet friendly cabins each have a front porch and back deck, allowing guests to get the most out of the natural setting.

“Some of our favorite guests are NSU and LSMSA parents,” said Andrea. “Parents want to cook for their kids. At Horseshoe Hills Cabins, they can check them out and bring them to a home setting. We have a full laundry facility so they can do all their kids’ laundry if they want to.”

The new pavilion is on a bluff and has trees all around it, giving it a treehouse effect. The pavilion has tables and chairs for up to 100, making the perfect setting for weddings.

“My favorite wedding was last October. They had a solo guitarist and the fall colors were out,” said Andrea. “It was astounding.”

The grounds provide access to horse and bike trails, a private boat launch, fishing and canoes.

  1. What is the cost of renting a cabin? Can you bring your own horse, or ride yours. It sounds amazing! I was also interested in any jobs you might have avaiable!
