Natchitoches Parish 4-H members returned recently from 4-H University on LSU’s Baton Rouge Campus. Participants had the option to compete in contests against other 4-Hers from across the state, or to participate in the educational Clover College. Natchitoches fared well in the contests, bringing home multiple top 5 and top 10 finishes. Some of the contests that Natchitoches participated in include Forestry, ATV, Dog Science, Sports Broadcasting and Photography.

• 9th place Blue RibbonDog Science: Katie Anderson, NSU Middle Lab
• 2nd place Forestry:Kate Dickson, St. Marys
• 5th place in Forestry:Rachel Rachal, NCHS
• 3rd Place Photography:Jon Tucker Henderson, NCHS
• 4th Place Sports Broadcasting: Anne Evans and Madelyn Peluso, St. Mary’s
