Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a Rapides Parish man reported missing to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday afternoon according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are currently looking for 45-year-old James D. Shortly after Treadwell entered the woods, family members and church volunteers searched the woods but were unable to locate him.

Since that time, volunteers, and NPSO Deputies along with the assistance of DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office Air Support and US Forest Service have searched several hundred acres of thick woods by air and ground with dogs and all terrain vehicles and have not been able to locate Treadwell.

Deputies ask that if you see Treadwell to please contact the NPSO at 352-6432 Detective Jonathan Byles at 357-7830, or the NPSO High Tech Crime Unit.

The investigation is continuing at this time.
