Ken Hale, President and CEO of Bank of Montgomery is pleased to announce the promotion of Ronald D. Roy to Chief Operations Officer and will also retain the title of Senior Vice President. Ronald came to Bank of Montgomery in April 2007 as Senior Vice President in Lending and a Member of the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Ronald is a lifetime resident of Natchitoches and started his local Banking Career in 1964. He is a Graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Northwestern State College where he earned a BS Degree in Accounting. He is also a Graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana. Throughout his Banking Career Ronald has served in numerous local organizations and is a member and Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches. In 1997 he was granted a “Life Member” status by Kiwanis International.
He is married to Marsha Ellzey Roy and is the father of Mark C. Roy (Wife Karen), and
Julie R. Longlois (Husband Stan) and has four Grandchildren – Peyton, Madeline and Lily Roy and Chloe Longlois. Ronald is a member of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
