Janice Bolton at Bolton Realty and Michael Harper at Seamless Gutters have teamed up to donate a Kawai electronic piano to the Music Program at LP Vaughn Elementary.  This instrument will assist instructors while teaching the children by imitating the sound of the instrument they are playing.  Research shows the connection between young children learning music/art and better cognitive development.  Danny Von Kanel, the Director of the program, has worked the last two years to build the program to not only LP Vaughn students, but an after school program for children from other schools.  The program provides jobs and experience for NSU students and others as instructors.
