Deputies say the operator of the 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling northbound on Levee Road in foggy conditions when he encountered a curve to the left. The vehicle continued to the right leaving the roadway, then overturned multiple times coming to a rest near the levee bar pits.
The 19-year-old driver from Lena was transported from the scene by EMS to Rapides Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The vehicle and Honda ATV transported in the rear received heavy damage.
Deputies say the man was enroute on a early morning hunting trip in the area.
The crash is being investigated by Troopers assigned to LSP Troop-E Alexandria.
