Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Provencal Police, Natchitoches Fire District #4 and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on La. Hwy 120 east of Provencal Dec. 3 at 11:53 a.m.

The 28-year-old operator of the 2003 Ford Explorer from Campti was extricated from the vehicle by Natchitoches Fire District #4 then transported by EMS to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The vehicle was traveling westbound in the rain on La. Hwy 120 when it left the roadway striking a tree.

The crash is being investigated by Provencal Police Department since it occured within the City Limits of Provencal.
