A Robeline teenager suffered only minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash on La. Hwy 486 early Sunday morning, March 5, at 12:31. NPSO Patrol Division deputies, State Police, and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS responded to a single-vehicle injury crash on Hwy. 486 (Campti Cut-Off).
Deputies say the 17-year-old Robeline teenager was traveling westbound on La. Hwy 486 in a 2010 Honda Civic when he apparently lost control of the vehicle leaving the roadway on the right side.
The vehicle, then partially overturned on its right side traveling several feet before it came to a rest upright in the ditch.
The driver was assessed at the scene by EMS and released, however, the parents where expected to transport him to NRMC by private vehicle for further treatment of the minor injuries.
Trooper D. Morvant assigned to LSP Troop-E investigated the crash.
