Two juveniles behind bars after robbery

JuvenilleNatchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Monday morning in reference to an armed robbery. Officers spoke with a 16 year old victim who advised that he was walking in a parking lot on Second Street when two black males approached him, one of which appeared to have a gun, and demanded he give them his phone. The pair absconded with the cell phone. The victim was able to get to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office for help.

Natchitoches Police Department patrol officers, task force agents and criminal investigators searched the area and located two subjects fitting the description given by the victim. The subjects were brought in and identified by the victim as the two suspects that committed the robbery.

The suspects, one 16 year old black male and one 15 year old black male, were arrested and charged with one count each of 1st degree robbery and transported to WARE youth detention center.

The victim was unharmed during this incident.
