City Planning and Zoning Director Juanita Fowler updated City Council members of the progress being made with a list of buildings declared unsafe at a prior City Council meeting. At Monday night’s meeting, Nov. 13, Fowler said she’s made contact with most of the owners, who have provided her with proof of progress on cleaning up/demolishing their properties.
In other news, the City approved a resolution recognizing the need to increase the compensation of its employees.
