Attendees at the Natchitoches Chamber Christmas party Dec. 5 got a special treat. The new Chamber President, Liz Juffin, mingled with Chamber and community members at the Cunningham Insurance Agency’s new location on Jefferson Street. The New Jersey native will officially begin in January. She’s worked as a political lobbyist for small businesses before serving as the membership director at the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in Hollywood, Fla.

“Natchitoches is so warm and welcoming and so completely different from where I’m from,” said Juffin. “Its Chamber is poised to address some initiatives, new ideas and new programs. I’d like to give it a shot in the arm. I’d like to invigorate its membership base, for both new and old members, because of the value of the work we do.”

Other introductions included Ryan Todtenbier as the incoming chairman for the Chamber Board of Directors and Katrice Below as the incoming vice-chair.
