The Natchitoches Young Professionals hosted its annual Christmas Party at Lounge 1714 inside Chateau Saint Denis. NYP Chair Haley Taitano recognized outgoing board members Lauryn Sharplin, Jennifer Sheffield, and Van Erikson for their 3 years of service as founding members of the group. She also recognized returning board members: Danielle Stamey, Valencia Sarpy Jones, Carrie Hough, and Austin Niette along with the newly elected Chair Craig Caskey and Vice-Chair Sean Baylor.

Maggie Harris was also recognized for her administrative work with the NYP board. New board members for 2018 will be Randee Knapp, Micah Foshee, and Dr. Lauren Anderson. NYP also presented its Partner of the Year award to John and Kathy Richmond, owners of Maglieaux’s Riverfront Restaurant.

NYP outgoing Chair Haley Taitano said, “We are looking forward to a great 2018 year, in which we plan to host our first ever NYP Conference for Professional Development. Thanks to all of our members, sponsors and supporters for making this group great!”
